Birthdays are special occasions that bring joy and extra surprises. It is a day that captures special moments for family members, relatives and friends. The excitement for birthday plans starts from the day before. Everyone celebrates it as she likes. Some parents throw a lavish party while others celebrate very simply.
However, it is important to consider some of the factors before throwing a party. These factors are-
1. Budget: Parents need to plan and organize a party according to their budget. As sometimes, bragging leads to a big crisis in the house. Therefore, a party should be such that it makes everyone feel comfortable as well as bring them happiness and enjoyment.
2. Child: Parents should plan a party keeping in mind their child’s age, personality, and temperament. A party in which the child enjoys with his classmates. He should feel calm and comfortable at the party. As companionship matters a lot because it creates a direct impact on the psychology of a child. Perhaps, because some young people can throw tantrums that would affect the child a little. Therefore, parents should take care of these things.
3. Family preference: This is the most important factor. Because, a child learns and moves in the psychology of her parents. Thus, parents should take from their values and motives and should teach the child that ‘simplicity is the best way to attract someone to you’.
Parents should involve children in the birthday celebration by involving them in various simple tasks such as:
1. Select a good location for the party. The party can be in banquet halls or at home. Birthday parties at home or in nearby gardens are generally preferred as it becomes easier to manage the environment.
2. Involve children in planning and preparation: Children can participate in ensuring the completion of work by keeping a checklist of tasks.
3. Let the children decide the menu, the game and the theme. Etc- This is a fun activity for which children will feel motivated. They will dedicate themselves to listing and analyzing creative games that will help them in their development, thus bringing happiness to others. The games can be passing the package, popping the balloon, etc. Also, surprises can be given by making video compilation or photo frame showing the best, fruitful and everlasting memories and also formulating the birthday boy’s name through the lights.
4. Baking cakes: This is one of the most fun activities. Make a tray of cupcakes and place it between the children along with chocolates, jellies, etc. and let them explore their artistic creation.
In addition, children can also participate in other creative activities to surprise the birthday boy. Activities can be –
1. Present ‘happy birthday’ or ‘name’ of the birthday person with the lights. This would be the most amazing and wonderful surprise to bring happiness to the child as I have done it myself in my childhood. Try it once!

So, inviting children to the birthday party and involving them in creative activities makes believe that a child is special. Therefore, the birthday is not only about surprising with balloons. It’s much more than that.
