So the Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT is just what the doctor ordered because it exceeded my expectations.

When he first sees the exercise machine, he is shocked at how big the stepper really is because the exercise machine is probably the biggest machine in the gym.

I was so used to using a treadmill or elliptical for my workouts that I was pleased to find an alternative to those exercise machines.

The Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT gave me a quality workout in half the time, and I was able to maintain my target heart rate throughout the test.

When you first get on, there’s an easy-to-read LCD display that provides information like the number of floors you’ve climbed, mileage equivalent, calories burned, speed and more.

You can also choose from six different training programs, from quick start to fat burner.

Starting his training with the revolving ladder, which measured 8 inches to closely mimic real stairs, I felt like I was climbing the stairs of an auditorium or stadium.

My knees didn’t hurt and I was able to choose my speed which ranged from 24 to 162 steps per minute, more than enough to challenge me and anyone from a beginner to an advanced athlete.

The only drawback I had seen with the Stairmaster Stepmill 7000 PT, aside from the $4,000-plus price tag, was the size of the machine. I could see that as a discovery so people don’t use this machine.

Plus, at over $4,000, there won’t be many of these in the gym, so once the word gets out about how great these steps are, you may find yourself waiting to use them.
