It was a masterclass from the London youngsters as they totally dominated the game from the 20th minute on and should have won by a bigger margin if they had better finishers in their range.
AC Milan looked like the aging and decaying team that it obviously is and it would be a good idea for them to revamp their team at the end of the season.
Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Nesta, Kaka Kaladze, Gennaro Gatusso, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Massimo Ambrosini, Dario Simic, Filippo Inzaghi, Dida, Serginho and Cristian Brocchi along with coach Carlo Ancelotti were part of the team that won the Champions League. back in 2002 and that is too personal to continue being an important part of a club.
Last night Gennaro Gatusso and especially Andrea Pirlo were terrible and way off the pace while Cesc Fabregas completely dominated the midfield. Paolo Maldini at 39 years old had a fantastic game and would have expected more from his teammates as they let him down so much.
Emmanuel Adebayor was excellent as he singlehandedly tormented Kaladze, Nesta and Oddo, while Aliaksandr Hleb had a field day tormenting Milan’s midfield and defence. He was very unlucky to receive a yellow card for diving because Nesta caught him in the first half just on the edge of the penalty area.
The only occasions in which Milan were dangerous were in corner kicks and in the couple of occasions in which Kaká got loose and ran to Arsenal. Apart from that they did not pose any danger with Inzaghi very isolated, Pato, disappointing and substitute, Alberto Gilardino, without contributing an iota.
The goals when they came were very well timed as Fabregas’ speculative shot from 25 yards caught Milan keeper Zeljko kalac sleeping for the opener and substitute Theo Walcott used his pace to outwit poor kaladze and then set up a chance very easy for Adebayor to grab. a goal that his performance deserved.
Arsenal can use this result as a springboard to possible league and Champions League success, while Milan can use this loss as motivation for the rest of their Serie A campaign or as a disappointment of which they won’t. they can recover.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal proved to be the decisive one in this game as he netted Wes Brown’s cross late in the first half for his 30th goal in his last 30 games.
Sevilla 3 Fenerbahce 2 (Fenerbahce wins 4-2 on penalties)
Sevilla went 2-0 up in the first 9 minutes of the game on goals from captain Danny Alves from a free kick and then a 30-yard strike from Saydoo Keita. Both goals were great howls from goalkeeper Volkan Damirel, who later redeemed himself in the penalty shootout by saving 3 penalties from Alves, Enzo Maresca and Escude.
Fenerbahce recovered a goal through Deivid before Freddy Kanouté made it 3-1.
The Sevilla coach then made a colossal mistake that led to the equalizer by bringing out the top scorer, Luis Fabiano, to bring on Renato in the second half.
Deivid scored again to take the tie to extra time and then to penalties with Volkan going from zero to hero.

An early goal from Xavi settled this tie once and for all with the drawback of a muscle injury to Leo Messi that made him cry.
