The Nokia 2730 Classic is a small and compact mobile phone that looks great with clean and simple lines.
It measures 109.6mm x 46.9mm x 14.4mm and weighs 78.7 grams, making it very light. The screen measures 2 inches and just below it is a large navigation panel surrounded by touch-sensitive call buttons. Below these is the keyboard which has perfectly flat keys that are evenly spaced from each other. The Nokia 2730 is available in black or magenta.
There is a built-in music player that will support the most popular music formats. The sound quality is decent, although it is not the highest. The internal memory is 30 megabytes, which is quite good but can be further increased with a MicroSD card. Of course, the Nokia 2730 also comes with an FM radio and will display the radio station information on the screen.
There is a 2-megapixel camera in the Nokia 2730 Classic, which has a 4x digital zoom. You will be able to adjust some settings to increase the quality and change the type of image taken. These settings include white balance, light mode, and color mode. The camera will also work as a video recorder. Image quality is fine, but would have been much better with a 3-megapixel camera.
Being a Nokia, of course, there are the basic apps as standard. These include a calendar, a calculator, a personal organizer, and an alarm clock. Nokia has also added some other features such as GPS navigation that works with Nokia Maps, a hands-free speakerphone, and audio xpress that will allow you to send sounds to your friends via SMS.
Internet connectivity is quite good with EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It is also possible to link the 2730 to third-party devices via Bluetooth.
