There are millions of people who are born into this world and leave unannounced.

There are others that become very prominent even at birth. There are still some people who are able to appear in the limelight even when faced with the overwhelming task of being born into a poor family environment, but with determination and effort they were able to move from obscurity to the limelight.

In this article, I would share the classic story of Queen Esther found in the biblical book of Esther, chapter 2: 1-16. She came from an unknown origin and had the misfortune of not having a father or mother. There were certain principles that can accelerate our ability to move from obscurity to the limelight.

Every step you take will make or break your destiny

When it came time to install a new queen in the land of Susa, Esther stood as a candidate and won the heart of King Ahasuerus. That singular decision she made brought her out of the dark into the spotlight. She became the shining light of the children of Israel amid oppression and intimidation. We must be able to make the right decision at each stage that we find ourselves in life. the decision we make today will shape our tomorrow and guarantee us a place in history.

God knows your beginning from your end

Almighty God is the only one who can tell our end from our beginning, as he called him Omniscient God. When Esther was orphaned at a tender age, no one knew that she would end up becoming the first lady in the land of Shushan. God has the amazing power to transform any individual from the unknown to the known. It only requires trust and commitment in who knows your end from your beginning.

When you find God’s favor, men will favor you

Favor simply means receiving from God the things that we do not deserve. If we are to judge by family background or physical beauty, Esther would have lost her quest to become the new queen in Shushan’s palace. What made her stand out from the crowd was the unmerited favor of Almighty God. He received the King’s favor because of God’s favor. When God favors a man, there would be no need to fight for recognition, because divine favor simply moves us from the realm of darkness to the spotlight. It opens countless doors of advancement on our behalf.
