The best time to tour has to be on a Sunday, when Tesquise is packed with market stalls, and even costumed musicians playing outside the square.

And finally, Los Hervideros, an impressive lava tube formed from lava and gases once trapped below the surface, enters the sea and has formed some truly spectacular deep sea caves and blowholes amongst the thick black rocks. The strong waves tend to hit the shore, which constantly breaks and wears away the stone creating more caves and blowholes.
