Blackberry has always been in the news for its business mobile phones, but now Nokia is also trying to design business phones. Blackberry 9000 Bold and Nokia E71 are business focused phones offered by Blackberry and Nokia.
The first phone has BlackBerry OS, HTML browser and comes with built-in GPS with BlackBerry Maps. Here you will get a 2 MP camera with flash and camera setup. Don’t expect video calls as no video call camera has been provided.
The latter has a Symbian 9.2 operating system, HTML and XHTML browser and Nokia browser with Mini Maps. Here you will find the GPS function with Nokia Maps. And the Nokia E71’s 2.3-inch QVGA display supports 16 million colors at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and comes with a five-way scroll key. It measures 114 x 57 x 10 mm and the weight is 127 grams. You can view and edit office documents in many formats using both widgets.
These widgets allow users to expand the memory up to 8 GB, but the internal memory of the Blackberry 9000 Bold is 1 GB of storage while its competitor’s internal memory is 110 MB of storage and both contain 128 MB of RAM. Also, SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging can be sent from both rivals, but in addition, Nokia has given additional power to your phone with the presence of email (POP, IMAP and SMTP), email with attachment, Text for Voice Mail Reader and Distribution List. 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth A2DP and USB are featured in both contenders but, in addition, Nokia E71 also offers infrared and HSCSD.
