Sun, sand and water are the main attractions of all the Caribbean islands. Beyond this attraction, each island has its own unique personality with lots of fun things to do.

1. Aruba: Sunny skies, sandy beaches, blue water, and cool breezes make it a great place to swim, dive, snorkel, windsurf, and more. Visit the Arikok National Park Ecological Reserve, go on an island bike adventure, go inside Aruba and ride an Atlantis submarine.

2. Barbados: Visit George Washington’s home, enjoy a kayaking and turtle adventure, or take a Mount Gay Rum Distillery and Banks Beer Tour. You can also go to Harrison’s Cave and Tropical Rainforest Hike or Horseback Riding and Country Drive.

3. Grand Turk: This island is consistently rated as one of the best for diving in the world. The continental shelf sinks 7,000 feet just a few hundred meters from the coast. Coral reefs and crystal clear water make for excellent diving conditions.

4. Jamaica: This island is a favorite place for honeymooners. You can visit Ocho Rios, go on a river tubing safari and see the home of Ian Fleming (author of the James Bond movies).

5. Martinique – You can visit the richest beach known as Grand Anse des Salines, enjoy learning about ecosystems at the Sea Gardens water park, visit the butterfly gardens, and go to the Mount Pelee Biological Reserve.

6. St Martin: This island is unique because it is really like two islands in one! There is St Martin (French side) and Sint Maarten (Dutch side). Saint Martin is known for some of the best beaches and restaurants in the Caribbean. It is calm and relaxed. Sint Maarten is known for the Dutch philosophy that anything goes.

7. Virgin Islands: You can visit the quiet and unspoiled island of Saint John, the bustling city of St Thomas, and the quiet island of St Croix, where the main attraction is the Buck Island National Park Monument.
