Looking for all the comforts of home but with all the services of a high-end hotel? Have you ever stopped to think how wonderful it would be if you could have all of this? Well, it really is possible by renting a vacation home. Try Googling “Florida vacation rentals.” You will find so many houses to stay in that will provide you with everything you are looking for. A fabulous “home away from home” away from all the other tourists in a hotel. The next time you’re planning a vacation, take a look at all the wonderful homes that are available for rent. We spent quite a few years staying in hotels, and then one year we rented a house. We have never stayed in a hotel again. For my family, this is the only way to have a fantastic vacation. Of course, there are various types of houses in many places in and around the Disney area. They range in size from 1-bedroom condos (sleeps 2) to 7-bedroom villas (sleeps 16). It really depends on what you’re looking for personally, but rest assured that everyone will have the amenities that a hotel can’t provide, and surprisingly, at a very reasonable cost. Like my wife and I a few years ago, I’m sure you’re thinking that these villas will cost an exorbitant amount of money and are only for the rich. not so Most rental houses are very reasonably priced and most families will be able to afford them. If you look closely at the prices, you will find that they are in fact very reasonably priced compared to a good quality hotel. They can accommodate a variety of people, not just individual families, but also groups of friends and family. They have rooms with king beds, double, twin and single rooms, all waiting for you to come and have the vacation of your dreams.
The best part, though, is dividing up the cost per person to get to what you’ll find great value. Some houses can cost as little as $10 per person per day. For example, in the off-season, a four-bedroom house that sleeps 10 will cost about $700 a week, including pool heating. That’s $100 per day, which works out to just under $10 per person. A good quality hotel room for 4 people will cost around $60 per night, which works out to $420 per week. Since there are 10 of you, you will need 3 bedrooms for a total of $1260, PLUS double the price of a villa.
We’ve all heard of the expression “location, location, location.” Well, you’ll often find that in a hotel, that “location” will mean near a major road or intersection, as this generates the most revenue for the hotel.
This is fine until it’s time to “fall asleep” for the night and then all the traffic noise keeps you awake. A very thick pillow or ear plugs are usually the best remedy.
The best part about vacation homes is that they are almost always located in quiet suburbs with very little traffic, but are still close to all the attractions (Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, etc.). style communities that may even have a view or a lake or conservancy view. If you are a family that likes these communal developments, they can range from very quiet and simple community halls to fully equipped lifestyle complexes with large community pools, artificial beaches, fully equipped gyms, spa, cinema, play areas. for children. Most of the vacation homes will have a very high level of facilities including private swimming pool, spacious and comfortable living areas, dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, garage, televisions, DVD player, laundry, internet access, etc.
One of the best parts of taking a villa vacation is that within a few hours, you feel right at home. You start to relax and then your vacation really begins. After a tiring but enjoyable day at the parks, come home, take a dip in your own pool, grab a beer from the fridge (or make some coffee), then curl up on the couch to watch your favorite DVD. You really can get away from it all.
