If you’ve seen the title of the self-help movie “The Secret,” you’ll be familiar with the creative process mentioned in the movie. It can also be found in the book edition of the film that has the same title. The Creative Process of the Secret Law of Attraction says: “Ask, believe and receive.”
In reality, this Creative Process is not something made up. It is based on the actual truth that had already been written in the Bible. One of the earliest teachings on the Secret Law of Attraction is found in the Bible. So, the rumor about it is not a new thing.
In the Bible, look up Matthew 7:7-8 or Luke 11:9-10; You will find that it is said: “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Now you may have realized that we all have the ability to get something that we deeply desire for the best in our life. Although it says that we should start by asking, it does not mean that we will get everything we want just by asking. There is an extra step before asking and it is called desire. Many people, after seeing the Secret, think that they can manifest whatever they want because they just want it. However, this is not how the Law of Attraction will work to fulfill our desires.
Although desire is necessary, we must also remember to be detached from the outcome. When we are attached, we will start to doubt the Universe and the Law of Attraction will make us doubt more instead of fulfilling our desires. Buddha said that doubt is the sword that kills. It kills our intention to create and manifest the best we can have.
After wishing and asking, then, comes Believing. In the entire Creative Process of the Secret Law of Attraction, believing is the most important step because it is belief that can make things happen. What does it mean to believe for the Law of Attraction? It means trusting the Universe without any doubt. I repeat the Secret of Manifestation: Knowing that you will get what you want is the belief that can make things happen.
The final part of the Secret Creative Process is Receiving. If we want to receive, we must respond to the signals that can lead us to fulfill our desires. Sometimes the Law of Attraction does not make things happen naturally but will give us solutions or answers through intuition or even through random thoughts. It is our own subsequent action that will determine the possibility of our desires manifesting in our physical world.
Another secret to attracting your desires is to think of the Law of Attraction Creative Process as a form of prayer rather than some sort of New Age principle. Prayer needs faith to be answered and it is the same with the Secret Law of Attraction Creative Process. Note that Matthew 21:22 and Mark 11:24 in the Bible have said, “Whatever you ask for in your prayer, believe that you will receive it, and you will certainly have it.”
