What about predestination?

Some believe and affirm that what will be will be and that no matter what you do or where you go, you can never go beyond what is written about you. In that case, do you know what is written of or for you? Was poverty written by or for you? Were you created to suffer and agonize and die as a “nobody” on earth? There is no such writing anywhere, the Bible says: “I can do all things through Christ…” Although it is true that some have an exceptional talent for music and others do not, some have a talent for public speaking, some for art and the trade, some in entertaining people. I just can’t believe that anyone was created to be useless, or to be a failure, or to be “a nobody.” You can be successful, whatever you do, whoever you are. Do you know that you may be more successful as a bread seller than anyone who is a doctor? Yes, I have seen some tailors (fashion designers) get richer than many doctors put together.

We have had a man in Lagos, Nigeria start his career as a human waste (manure) bagger. This man resumed his duties at night due to the embarrassment of taking the thing out in daylight, with the consequent bad odor (odors). In a very short time (I don’t really know, but it could be anywhere from ten to twenty years), he became a big man, landing big sock-packing contracts at big-man houses and businesses. He eventually became a billionaire, and had many tanker trucks used to pack human waste. Success in life does not depend on a single business or profession, whatever gift you are gifted with; you can excel at that, if you can only keep the devil under your feet, where he belongs. Some claim that God has destined some people to live well, whether they have difficulties in life or not. They use as an example the calling of Jacob (albeit younger) and God’s preference for him over Esau, that God said: “Jacob I have loved and Esau I have hated”, this was said even before they were born. Let me explain God’s plans for man’s redemption to show his impartiality among human beings.

After making man in His own image, God blessed man and said, “Be fruitful and multiply; replenish the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over all living creatures.” thing that moves on the earth” Gen. 1:28.

This blessing is for humanity (without exception, which means that you are included). But man fell as a result of disobedience to God, he reached a point where man’s wickedness and sin were so serious that God regretted having made man on earth.

And God saw that the wickedness of men was great on earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. And the Lord repented of having made man on earth, HE HURT IN HIS HEART of him. overall 6:5,6

The entire human race became corrupt before the Lord, and the Lord concluded plans to eradicate the race; but Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. overall 6:8. Why did he find race before the Lord? He found grace because he lived correctly.

“…Noah was a just and perfect man in his generations, and Noah walked with God” Gen. 6:9

We all know what happened, the flood came, and only Noah’s family was preserved along with species of all kinds of animals. The wickedness of man continued after the flood; then God found Abraham and established a covenant with him. This covenant of God was with Abraham and his seed; Isaac, then Jacob, then Judah inherited the covenant, until it came to David. This pact is a very deep and vast treasure; another book will be needed to explain its full meaning. As we continue, I will highlight some importance of the covenant.

From David, the covenant went on and on, until it came to our Lord Jesus Christ. You see, before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, God was always in support of the Israelites and any of them who are in accordance with the covenant. You become the favorite of God as soon as you diligently follow the covenant and meditate on it, you become impossible to be conquered by any force on earth.

In fact, God openly rebuked kings who wanted to touch His people. Those who carried God’s covenant were preferred (by God) over all others in the world. So the children of Israel enjoyed many immunities from God due to the covenant, their chances of enjoying it increased, divine favor strengthened by their ability to obey their own part of the covenants.

From Abraham to Jesus, the covenant is intact. With Jesus, the covenant did not continue on the basis of the flesh but on the basis of the spirit. Jesus, who now became the custodian of the covenant or who is the seed of Abraham, did not transfer the seed to a son born of the flesh through a woman (as you know that Jesus did not have a wife, let alone a son in the physical body). kingdom). This means that if the seed or covenant is to pass, then it must pass through Jesus’ first son, but He had no biological children. However, by spirit, he had many children in glory, you and me included. This is the reason we now have the NEW TESTAMENT or the New Covenant. The basis of this New Testament is found in John 3:16, which states that

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.”

The covenant went out from Israel, from Abraham’s family (in the flesh) to the whole world through a spiritual means of FAITH or BELIEF. Knowing that Abraham himself contacted the covenant through faith. The covenant becomes yours if you have faith or believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. From the time of Jesus Christ on earth until now, it is by faith that we please God or obtain from God, not by being born into a certain family of people.

Let’s look at Titus 2:11-14

“Because the grace of God that brings salvation has been manifested to all men, teaching us… in this present world…” The grace of God has been manifested to all men, to those who have received grace, to those who they believe it, it works for them without any bias or even any hindrance. In the New Testament, no one who understands the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will ever accuse God of partiality. The same thing happened in the Old Testament (in favor of Israel); when God chose Jacob over Esau before they were born, it was because God had seen the end even before they began. And even Esau voluntarily sold his birthright for food; God did not force him to do that. God had chosen Jacob, because He knows many things that we may never know. God chose Jacob, and through Jacob, the savior of the world came to save all mankind from the wrath of God.

In the Old Testament, God sees the whole world and grouped them into two categories, the Israelites and the Gentiles. He had a covenant with the Israelites, the rest of the world is the Gentiles. The theme is now different; God now classifies the world in three,

1) The church of Jesus Christ
2) The Israelites and
3) The Gentiles.

Anyone, dark or white, can be in that more favored group called the church. If God were partial, today only the house of Israel would have salvation and the rest of the world would be lost. Thank God today, whoever accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, no matter how bad or good, no matter how dangerous or peaceful, no matter how polite or crude, no matter how rich or poor, if he accepts Jesus, God will accept him. . You will become a child of God and therefore a beneficiary of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a member of the Universal Church. These benefits include salvation, healing, deliverance, preservation of safety, longevity, prosperity, divine health, power over the devil, the abiding presence of God, etc. This is the basis of prosperity. With this promise, or with the Gospel, you can be anything you want to be. You have power from God – The Holy Spirit to conquer the enemy of man – Satan. you are from God; you were created to achieve, to be successful and to be a blessing to your generation.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the POWER of God over every force of the devil in this world Rom. 1:16. If you want to experience the power of God, if you want to flow in the river of God’s grace, it’s all in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Christ is the solution to man’s many problems, approach him and his solution is as certain as daylight.
