That 70’s Show is an American television sitcom based on the lives of teenagers. These teens don’t live in a real city. In fact, they are shown to live in a fictional town in Wisconsin, called Point Place from May 1976 until 12:00 am on January 1, 1980. The show is basically about six teenagers living in the town of Point Place in Wisconsin. The main protagonist of the show is the character of Eric Foreman played by Topher Grace. Eric is a very skinny teenager who loves what most teenagers love. He loves GI Joe, Star Wars. He also has a girlfriend who is shown to be rather tomboyish. Her name is Donna.

The series basically focuses on relationships between teenagers. The series shows the relationship between Eric and Donna. Both are in a relationship. Viewers may notice that Eric often jokes about having sex with Donna on the show. The program shows various forms of relationship between these adolescents. Since the show is called That 70’s Show, it talks about many social issues of that time. There are episodes based on feminism, sexual attitude in a progressive way, recession, lack of trust in the American government by young people, drug use in adolescents, technology, etc. Another thing in this show is that a lot of dream sequences are shown in this series. Basically, the show talks about what teenagers used to do in the ’70s. There was less choice. And most of the time, these teens on this show used to spend their time in the basement getting high.

The show has completed eight seasons in total. It represents a completely different era. A fun show with a lot of information about how things were in the 70’s. The show must be seen at least once. This show is quite popular among the viewers as it shows some good and wholesome comedy. DVDs have also been released for this show. Therefore, people who love this show can watch it again and again. What makes the show different is that not only is it set in a different era, but the creators also tried to inform viewers about the subcategories for that era. In the first two seasons, episodes opened with titles indicating the season or month of that year. Example: late spring 1977 or June 1977, etc. That 70’s Show ran for eight seasons with 200 episodes. Viewers were always shocked by the new ways or, let’s say, the old ways. There are many events or things that remain common in all seasons. One of those things is the Green Helmet.

This helmet is the “Stupid Helmet”. Every time someone in the group of teenagers does something stupid, he has to wear this helmet. When Eric told the gang that he wanted to propose to Donna, he had to wear this helmet. There are several other things that repeat themselves in the seasons. Things like Water Tower and dream sequences have found a place in almost every season. Three cheers for the evergreen ’70s show!
