Access to an affordable education is at hand with scholarships and grants for college students in Florida. These programs provide financial aid support to Florida college students who are enrolled in degree programs at participating Florida colleges and universities throughout the state.

Eligibility Procedure and Requirements to Receive Academic Funding

Each institution may have its own procedures, such as application deadlines, student eligibility, and application procedures. However, to receive funds, students must be Florida residents and US citizens or eligible non-citizens. Students must not be in default on any state or federal grant, scholarship, or loan unless the student has made satisfactory payment arrangements. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per term in a bachelor’s degree program at a participating Florida institution. They must also meet Florida’s general eligibility requirements to receive funding. State aid is not available to students who are enrolled in a program leading to a degree in divinity or theology.
