  • 3 cups dried pinto beans, rinsed

  • 1 1/2 kilograms of whole chicken, cut into pieces

  • 8 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 sweet onion, sliced

  • 3/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Combine garlic, onion, soy sauce, and vinegar in a bowl. Stir to combine the ingredients well. Place the chicken pieces in a slow cooker, then pour the soy sauce mixture all over. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low heat. It is best served over cooked rice.
