Can a demigod and his Arcadian commander fight a three thousand year old evil and win?

FAVORITE LINE:

“Nothing could spoil any moment I have with you this way. They are all perfect, each one, and they are all beautiful. They are elusive dreams made of flesh and blood. You have given them life just as you breathed it into me.” – Julian

FIRST LINE:

There were monsters.

Lauren had always suspected it was true and now she had all the proof she needed.

PLOT:

A beautifully woven tapestry assembled with the magical tales of the Greek gods, new love, and painful betrayal. From the time when the Greek gods were worshiped and feared to the present, this story takes you into a world rich in history and unforgettable history. The author has taken mythology and turned it into a story full of tension and fast-paced action.

The connection between the hero and the heroine stops at all times. Coming from a life where she feels she doesn’t belong, Lauren realizes her true destiny, siding with Ghost and his Arcadian Commander in a battle she has fought against the first werewolf for over thirty lifetimes. Friendship will be forged and the pain of loss will be great, but the strength that Julian and Lauren display is truly a rewarding experience to share through their story.

The author has written a story that takes two characters through hell and back, and in the end, you can’t help but want more. Ms. Heaton delivered with a fabulous ending and the promise of more to come!

SETTING:

Love Immortal begins in a dark alley in the city of London. It isn’t long before Lauren is taken to Paris, France, to seek help in her next battle against the original werewolf, Lycaon, and then forced to return to London and then Greece.

WRITING:

This book has launched Felicity Heaton from being a yes-I’ve-read-her-books to a must-read author for me. He has truly surpassed all of his previous books with the amount of detail, characterization, and creativity that he has used to write Love Immortal. Yes, all her attention to detail is there, but her in-depth look at the hero and heroine is what drew her best from this book. Mrs. Heaton, please keep coming back!

CHARACTER:

Julian is a unique hero. The depth of the pain I had suffered came through the pages to my heart and mind. Usually it’s the heroine that grabs my attention for obvious reasons, but this time her story touched me more deeply. Feel my heart race with the wonderful moments of true happiness that you experienced. Coming out of a life of chilling loneliness and death closed to any human connection for so long, then watching him open his heart to Lauren was an experience in itself.

In this story it was about the heroine who had to prove that she was worthy of such a great man. And Lauren definitely proved her worth long before she knew it herself. Her inner strength is exactly the kind of heroine I love to read about. She brought out the best in everyone around her. The supporting characters brought an added edge to the story that made it complete and fun to read. Even the vampire, Morgan, was intriguing. Maybe even get your own story !!!

LAST THOUGHTS:

This story was beyond what I expected. The journey these two characters undertake is a story you don’t want to miss. I wholeheartedly recommend Love Immortal, and if the clues are something to follow, I can’t wait until the next book.
