This month we are going to start a four month series on how to build your own business using a lead magnet, landing page and Facebook.

First, we’ll start with creating the perfect leads that target your audience and get them to sign up for your list.

Then we’ll cover exactly how to create a capture page or landing page that makes visitors say, “YES! Add me to your list NOW!”

In our third installment, we’ll cover how to get all the traffic you want from Facebook.

Once you’ve learned these three skills, you can literally walk into any market and build a list building machine in just a few days.

Better yet, you can go one step further and build a complete product funnel behind your lead magnet, Offering a tripwire deal (low ticket), followed by your main deal, followed by a big ticket item.

In fact, we’re going to cover all of that in month 4 of this series.

First, we better reveal what a lead magnet is. You know those gifts you get for subscribing to a list? Those are lead magnets.

They are something offered as a gift or incentive in exchange for an email address. And they are the easiest and fastest way to build a list of targeted subscribers.

Remember this: the goal of any lead magnet is to convert traffic into leads.

While it’s true that you can put just about anything together and call it a lead magnet, it’s also true that the better (and more specific) your lead magnet is, the easier it is to build a profitable list.

A lead magnet does not generate money by itself. However, working as your frontline ambassador can be extremely lucrative.

As you know, there are three ways to grow a business:

Increase the number of customers

Increase average transaction value per customer

Increase the number of transactions per customer

With the right lead magnet, you can increase the number of prospects and customers that have joined your list.

And with a well-targeted niche, you can also increase the average transaction value and even the number of transactions per customer, attracting the best customers for your particular business.

As you progress through the following sections, always think of your leads as an irresistible snippet that will offer real value to your prospects.

Your leads have to be so good that your prospects will ‘buy’ you with your email address.

It should be relevant to your niche and your offerings.

You need to be ultra-specific in what you give to the user.

It should be priceless, as the prospect cannot easily Google the information and find it themselves, or even buy it elsewhere.

And it should be easily consumed, because you want the prospect to consume it immediately after downloading it.

We’ll look at each of these in a moment.

The point to remember at this point is this: Your lead magnet is perhaps the most important piece of your entire marketing system.

The right leads will bring you an endless stream of new prospects and future customers.

Incorrect leads will generate incorrect leads for your offers or no leads at all.
