We have been working hard the last few years as professionals and students. We use our shoes, tires of our cars to go to work. We use bags to carry our belongings. We use pens and pencils to express our opinions and remember important dates.

There are so many things that we use so that we can achieve various things. And even on weekends, we work with them. Only to put it back in the garage and take it for granted.

Tools have traveled the earth for more than two million years. They have helped us to cut those branches that get in the way, slash the flesh and protect our sanctuaries. Some tools have yet to be discovered!

SAW.

Saw has been made into a movie and is shown at its worst. They are made of thin metal with teeth on one side. This set of teeth slowly grinds into woods and other sawable things. They have been known to cut through iron sheets and bones.

They come in different sizes. They can be seen in sawmills, construction areas, and in the woods. They can be held by hand or mounted on a platform where you just have to feed the wood through it.

1813 saw the birth of the circular saw. Shaker-Sister and Tabitha Babbitt invented them while searching for innovations that would speed up their production at a sawmill. 1780 saw Gervinus invent an albeit primitive circular saw. William Newberry joined him in 1807 with a band saw.

You may want a face hammer, a flat surface on one end and a round one on the other. They’re called a ball peen hammer!

HAMMER

For the grueling task of hammering, the hammer is up to the job. No one can say who invented the hammer, since the earliest known primates used stones to crack hard objects like nuts. They are known as a hammer, mallet, mallet, pestle, and sledge.

MEASURING TAPE

Alvin J. Fellows of New Haven CT patented the tape measure in July 1868. He later used it to measure himself at 40-46-42. Was it used to measure girls?

ROLLER

They’ve been here to help us spread an even coat for a more attractive finish, thanks to Norman Breakey of Toronto, Canada in the 1940s. Paint rollers have never ceased to amaze us ever since, constantly reaching for the heights and achieving a most perfect layer. . Yet they keep dripping on me.

AXIS

No one can claim to be its inventor. It was used to cut things in the old days. It has a straight, sharp edge.

CHISEL

It is a design tool that shapes a wood. Without them, we’d be crying over how to grind down woods and create the necessary art forms.

TO HIDE

It is used to shape and smooth wooden surfaces.

MARKERS

Just to remind us of the measurements and where to hit. They can be ordinary pencils or pens.

HOLES

They are the primitive drillers. We use them to drill holes in woods. Would you like to drill holes with nails and hammers?

SUSPENDERS

They are the same as augers but drill with a more continuous motion.

COMPASS

They were used to mark certain points to calculate exactly one point on a given topic.

SQUARES and BEVELS

They were made to measure the measures of angles. It can typically be made of iron and have inches in measurements.

Remember, let’s take care of them properly so they can be used for longer periods of time. Who knows, they might reach your great-grandchildren? As I do.
