‘Galliyan’ is a soundtrack for the movie ‘Ek Villain’, the upcoming romantic thriller film directed by Mohit Suri. Starring Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead and Riteish Deshmukh makes his debut as an antagonist with this film. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production company Balaji Motion Pictures. The film was released on June 27, 2014, and the official teaser was released on April 4, 2014.
In the film, Sidhharth Malhotra will play ‘Guru’, Sharddha Kapoor will play ‘Aisha’, Riteish Deshmukh will play ‘Rakesh’ and Prachi Desai will have a cameo. The song ‘Galliyan’ is composed by Ankit Tiwari. Three songs in the movie are composed by Mithoon and one song called ‘Awari’ is composed by Soch (band). The lyrics of the song ‘Galliyan’ is written by Manoj Muntashir and the duration of the song is around 05.41 minutes. The track is a romantic number and the actors have gone musky. Actors Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor spent seven hours underwater to film the song. Filming the song alone took seven hours during which the couple had a lot of fun.
The actors are addicted to the sea, Sidhharth loves diving and Shraddha Kapoor is a trained diver. The film is generating a lot of buzz about Siddharth Malhotra’s gray character and the chemistry they share in the film.
