Share a bit of personal experience.

I grew up in a Christian home. We attended Vroom Street
Free Evangelical Church from my earliest memories. my father
had perfect attendance for literally decades.

In fact, I did a little preaching while I was in school. I was wearing a
Bible to school for a while and had a “Jesus saves” sticker on
my bike. However, there were other times when I used quite a bit
obscene language.

Peg and I got married in the late 1960s down south
Baptist Church that Peg grew up attending. we move to
Northern New Jersey and raised a family.

Our first daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate.
and had a series of corrective surgeries. second of peg
pregnancy ended with a premature delivery of a child who died on
day he was born Apparently his lungs were not yet

presented, the more I came to see biblical truth.

During one of the FGBMFI conventions I met a Catholic
Charismatic and spoke briefly with him. one thing i remember
was that his use of the word “grace” was quite different from
my understanding of that word. I was surprised how he
Charismatic Catholics could be “right”
doctrinally and still remain with the Catholic Church. From
My earliest memories understood that Catholics were not
