· When you get your butt kicked, get back up and smile.

· Wearing a uniform does not mean that you are not unique. It means that you belong to something bigger than your lonely self.

Age is something that should be honored and respected.

When your back is against the wall, stay calm and focused. There is always a way out for those who keep their wits about them.

· Truly strong people do not need to tell the world about their strength. Sample.

Protect the weakest.

Mentor those who wish to learn.

· Act bravely even if you’ve already wet yourself with fear.

Do no harm to any sentient being, including and especially yourself.

Meditate daily. Discipline your mind and your body will follow.

Learn to listen to your inner teacher. Your soul knows the correct answer to each question.

· No matter what color belt you wear, be “true blue” on the inside where it really matters.

Truly, madly, deeply love your art. This love will transform you and make you a more lovable person to everyone who comes into contact with you.
