The Kingdom of Bahrain is a fascinating and contemporary land that continues to develop and diversify on many levels. Although it is a fairly small country, car rental in Manama can be very useful for adventurous tourists who want to see as much as possible during their stay. Here are five things easily accessible by car.

1. Formula One Grand Prix: 45 minutes from Manama

Even if you are not a fan of Formula 1, if you visit Bahrain during the Grand Prix, take your time to see it. The circuit is located in a former desert terrain approx. forty-five kilometers outside the city of Manama. The only accessible route to the circuit is for now only from the center of Manama via the main road. Due to construction areas along the highway, the trip may take a little longer than the usual thirty minutes. There are no other means of transportation available to Formula Circuit. There are no trains, no shuttles, except for the expensive taxi ride, which will definitely cost you more than a day’s car rental.

2. Wildlife Park “Al Areen”

This wild animal park was established by the Crown Prince of Bahrain himself. Perfect getaway for families and animal lovers. Visiting this talking area, you will have the honor of seeing indigenous Middle Eastern animals such as scimitar-horned oryx, endangered desert antelope, “Arabian oryx”, “Nanger dama”, “Nubian ibex”, goat wild, “Impala” . The park is located just 35 kilometers from Manama. On the road follow the signs to Riffa, on the “Carretera de la Playa El Zallaq” you will see the entrance to the part. The park is only accessible by private transportation.

3. Look for the “Tree of Life”

Majestic tree over four hundred years old, it survived almost five centuries in the heart of the desert. Locals even believe that the place where the tree is located used to be an original Garden of Eden. Reasonably easy to find if you head south on the new dual carriageway towards “Durrat Al Bahrain” to bridge number 3, then turn right and follow traffic signs. The tree will be on your left side.
