Exercise allows more nutrients and oxygen to circulate to the skin, which in turn allows us to look more radiant. Regular exercise simply jump-starts the collagen production processes, thus leading to younger-looking skin. This generation of younger skin slows down as we age.

And because the face sheds excess weight first, it means losing even 5 pounds allows you to look a little younger. However, don’t go too far. A face that is too thin begins to look emaciated. Women should aim to maintain a body fat ratio of at least 14%, while men should aim for a body fat ratio of at least 6%. This allows for a “fullness” that will keep your face youthful.

There are a couple of main reasons intermittent fasting makes you look younger. Those are:

7. Get enough sleep

Not getting enough sleep leaves you tired and stressed. When that happens, a hormone called cortisol is released. This hormone has a damaging effect on the skin.
