Expect March 2009 to be eventful, as you’ll see in the forecast below.
Before we begin, I’ve included an explanation of some terms that may be helpful to those of you who are new to Uranus astrology.
The first term is Anticia, which is the crux of the Uranus astrology system, and describes balance and symmetry.
For example, a planet is in Anticia of another planet when the midpoint between the two is 0 degrees cardinal, also known as Aries or cardinal axis. This means that the energies of the two planets involved will be played out in public and involves the masses. Especially since the 0 degree of Aries is related to the axis of the world. In March this will happen frequently.
I’ll also be using more of the trans-Neptunian planets this astrology system is known for, including:
Cupid: Family, marriage, groups and community, society as a social group, art and artists’ colony. The downside is clanism and exclusivity.
Hades: Secrets, matters that can be unpleasant, vile or evil. We all know that this may be contained in secrets. Hades also has to do with the three great professions: medicine, especially surgeons; astrology; and prostitution (not necessarily in that order). I, for one, believe that we should include legal practices as a manifestation of Hades. The actions of lawyers are sometimes more criminal than the activity of their clients. Hades also has to do with poverty and need. Our newspapers and news outlets are working hard to make us aware that no one is immune to the effect of Hades.
Zeus: Fire, machinery, explosive rockets. Power to rise above, productive performances, creative energies. Goal-oriented. Bold and independent. The negative side is misdirected or out of control energy like anger. Overconfidence and selfishness. Procreation more than creation.
Kronos: Ruler, leader, father, master, king, nobility. Authority, judge, chief physician of the DA, the male/female chief. Head of state, police. Independence and dominance. Kronos is someone who is admired and held in high esteem.
Apollo: A combination of Jupiter and Gemini, and translated into massive communications and/or great success. It also has to do with places far and far away. It is commerce, commerce and science. A strong Apollo can get away with it. Great powers of intellect and multiplicity. Negative, overconfident, overlooked details, not seeing the trees in the forest.
Admetos: Begging and end of life. It is the womb and the grave. Closed in spaces such as cabinets, boxes and coffins. It is combined cycles with washers in enclosed spaces that come to mind. It represents fences that enclose a space. Most Uranus astrologers have a strong Admetos, because we use spinning dials and use focus and deep concentration. More raw materials, landfills, buildings and durability.
Vulcanus – This trans-Neptunian represents a great force, a powerful force, and a volcanic eruption. It is vitality and good recuperative powers. Omnipotence, power plants and storms. Violent and out of control energies are the negative side of Vulcan.
Poseidon: Represents enlightenment, spiritual and intellectual wisdom. This trans-Septunian planet represents enlightenment. You will find that inventors have a prominent Poseidon. Religious leaders, psychics, spiritualists, mediums and prophets have a strong Poseidon. It is also found in graphics of those in the spotlight, such as artists and movie actors.
Now let’s move on to the forecast for March, which begins with Kronos, Pluto + Hades = Aries. The public will be made more aware of the shady dealings and misconduct of the heads of financial corporations. If you think you’ve heard it all, think again, especially after March 6, when Venus turns retrograde.
Just before Venus goes backwards, the stock market will appear to be on the mend due to Su = + Jupiter = Venus, days of financial gains. This will happen on March 4, 5 and 6. However, beware, Mercury and Mars are dancing with Neptune and everything is illusory.
Many high-end restaurants will be about to close. This is also a day to be careful when traveling. If you must travel by car, have your mechanic check the fluids and water hose before you hit the road.
On March 8 and 9, the Sun will be in opposition to Saturn. This aspect occurs just after Venus turns retrograde. These could be a depressing and worrying two days.
At the same time, on March 9, Saturn will be 22 ½ degrees from Mars, as seen on the 90-degree dial, signaling frustration as more jobs are lost. This is bad financial news as PL/ME +VE/NE=Sun, SA.
The full moon on March 10 falls at the midpoint of Saturn and Uranus, if you can find a rock to hide in I suggest you do so. Don’t forget to wear your helmet when you leave home.

On the 12th the Sun will be in conjunction with Uranus and 22 ½ degrees with Venus. That will be a day of nervousness and financial insecurity.
On March 15, Mars will be 22 ½ degrees from Uranus and a big crash or explosion is possible. I would stay close to home and make sure my boiler was well maintained. Then comes the Sun = Aries/Uranus on March 16, sudden and unexpected events can occur in the world. Whatever happens that day will not be good for the world financially. This is because Venus will be in the anticipation of Saturn, that is, Venus + Saturn = Aries.
On March 17th, Mercury will also be part of the equation as it moves at a fixed 15 degrees, falling over the cardinal axis and the midpoint of Saturn and Venus, having everyone in an uproar.
And on the 19th Venus+Mercury/Saturn=Aries, bad financial news, that is, the stock market should be closing lower. On Friday the 20th Venus+Uranus=Sun+Pluto, the day will end with financial news that continues to be unstable.
Between the 16th and the 26th, Saturn will oppose Cupid, family or couple disharmony or possible breakups due to financial problems. More cuts and more small family businesses will not survive.
The 22nd, if you have to go shopping, be very careful what you buy. You might think you’re getting a bargain, but instead you’ll be fooled. Venus will be 135 from Neptune as the Sun is 135 from Jupiter. The Sun Jupiter is normally a lucky day, but since Venus is in hard aspect to Neptune on the same day, it is instead a financially tricky day.
The new moon on March 26 could bring a breather to the stock market and bring good news as Jupiter forms a semi-square to Pluto and Venus/New Moon + Uranus = Aries/Mercury bringing a change for the better in the financial news.
I anticipate the financial news on the 27th will also be good, but don’t be fooled into thinking the recession is over. It is far from over.
March 28 and 29 can bring unsettled weather conditions in various parts of the world, as the Sun, Mercury+Uranus=Aries. The winds and air currents on those two days will be unstable, so I don’t recommend traveling by plane due to this instability.
On the 30th and 31st we were able to hear bad news about a sudden event. Sun, Mercury + Saturn, Uranus = Aries, and Sun, Mercury will be in a semi-square to Neptune, and the news should have to do with flooding. This bad news or sudden event has nothing to do with the financial market. The financial news should be good since Venus+Pluto=Jupiter.
