I know it can be quite difficult to stay motivated at times. Especially when it comes to weightloss. There are so many temptations out there, waiting to make a mistake and deviate from your path to healthier eating and a slimmer, sexier shape of you. I know from experience that it can be difficult to stay strong and not give in to those tempting guilty pleasures.
I had to find an ally, someone who wasn’t biased like my husband. He could tell me that I looked thinner just to make me feel better. Well, I could never find someone, but I did find something!
I have found the best motivational tool there is … It’s my bathroom scale. When I screw up and eat something that isn’t so good for me, that scale knows it and will show me the next time I step on it. He won’t lie to make me feel better. He’s not afraid to tell me if I’ve gotten a little bit bigger. If I’m good and stay the course, that scale will reward me with a lower number when I step on it. It has to be the most unbiased tool that anyone looking to lose weight can use.
Don’t be afraid of the scale. When I started trying to lose weight, I didn’t like my scale. In fact, I was an enemy, but when I started to lose weight, the scale became my best friend! Now I can’t wait to step on it and see what it says.
Motivation plays a huge role with weight loss. I have lost over 24 pounds! If I can do it, then you can too!
